Writing adwords ads and
making a profit…
This is what you are led to believe:
Many would love
to see this really happening but the truth is if you don’t
do your homework first, all the money you thought would be rolling
in is going to be rolling out, much faster than you expected.
Beating adwords is an art, it takes dedication and just like
running any business successfully you have to know what you are
doing before you lay the cash out.
It seems we all fall for that one,
and do not feel alone I have bought many books claiming to
teach me how to write profitable ads and beating
adwords. The secret lies in how you write
your ads and
which keywords you choose.
Understanding Google
Adwords correctly will drive a lot of traffic
and insane profits to your site, doing it wrong you stand to
lose everything you own, right down to your boxers.
To be beating adwords you have to understand
that the principal of Adwords is the same as the principal for
the Google search engine, give the visitor relevant results for
a search phrase. In other words they will find what they are
looking for if they use the Google search engine.
This is the first important factor to take into
consideration when using Google
Adwords, your keywords have to be relevant
to the search of the visitor. The keywords you use are also directly
linked to the landing page, where the visitor will land when
he clicks on your adwords ad.
The landing page also has to be relevant to the visitors search.
Now if you think this is unimportant, your keywords and landing
page are given a score by Google and that score playes a huge
role in how much you will be paying for a click.
With a conversion rate between one and three
percent when selling affiliate products with adwords your cost
per click can make a huge difference to the bottom line of your
business, and adwords
will be beating you into the ground.
If you can create ads that are relevant to your search terms
(keywords) then Google will reward you by giving you high placement
at costs lower than ads that are not relevant. In other words,
if people see your ads and click on them, you will pay Google
less for your ads. If people see your ads and don't click on
them, Google will charge you more for the ads.
Beating adwords can become an obsession with you, just like
a gambler. You have to believe the next roll of the dice will
be in your favor and then the big money will roll in. Would that
be nice or what? Unfortunately not true for most internet marketers,
research is the key to beating adwords.
